Tennis player Khachanov said he received a visa to play at Wimbledon

Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov announced that he received a British visa to play at the Wimbledon tournament.
Now the Russian performs at another Grand Slam tournament – the French Open. Khachanov has already reached the quarterfinals of Roland Garros, where he will meet Serb Novak Djokovic.
– I heard that it takes much longer to process a British visa with documents. But in this case, I have everything ready, so I have no problems yet. Everything is in order,” Khachanov said at a press conference.
In March, the organizers of Wimbledon decided to allow Russian and Belarusian tennis players in a neutral status. The admission condition is the fulfillment of a number of conditions, including the signing of a special declaration.
Wimbledon 2023 will take place from 3 to 16 July.
