Well-known Soviet tennis player Andrey Chesnokov considers the entry of three Russian players into the top 10 ATP rankings a lift for Russian men’s tennis.

Karen Khachanov will return to the top 10 of the ATP rankings following the results of Roland Garros. Thus, on June 12, there will be three Russians in the top 10 best players in the world: Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov.

– This is not the first time. The girls once had five Russians who entered the top ten. Probably, after all, this is an upswing in men’s tennis for Russia, when three players are in the top ten,” Chesnokov told Vprognoze.ru.

The last time Khachanov was in the top 10 was in October 2019. At the moment, the Russian is the 11th racket.
