Roland Garros 2023. 1/2 finals
Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) [1] – Novak Djokovic (Serbia) [3] – 3:6, 7:5, 1:6, 1:6
Carlos found his pace only in the second set. Then the Spaniard changed the direction of the meeting and began to dictate the game. Alcaraz tied in the sets but pulled his foot in the third set. In the third game, he even took a medical timeout in the middle of the game, and for this the referee of the meeting counted the match to Novak, as this could not be done. Carlitos didn’t pull out of the fight, initially it seemed like just contractions, but apparently not.
The 20-year-old Spaniard played in two or three hits and lost the remaining two sets on one leg.
Djokovic reached the final of the French Major for the 7th time. He has 2 championships (2016, 2021).
In the cup challenge, Novak will face Kasper Ruud (Norway, ATP 4) or Alexander Zverev (Germany, ATP 27).
