Bindl missed a 5-2 win in the 3rd set and was eliminated from the tournament in Croatia.

Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl (WTA 83) completed their performance in the clay tournament of the WTA 125 series held in Makarska (Croatia).

In the quarter-finals of the competition, the Ukrainian lost to the Slovakian representative in three sets. Rebecca Shramkova (WTA 222) at 3 hours 22 minutes.

In the first match, Katerina failed to apply for a set and did not convert 4 sets. In Game 11 of the second set, Shramkova found two hidden match points, but Bindl received the serve and then a timeout.

In the third installment, the Ukrainian took a 5:2 lead, but lost 5 games in a row.

The Croatian will play Jasmine Paolini (Italy, WTA 53) in the semi-finals of the 125,000th Shramkova.
