Djokovic wins Roland Garros and holds the record for most Grand Slam titles

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic defeated Norwegian Kasper Ruud in the final of the French Open.

The meeting lasted 3 hours 13 minutes and ended with the score 7:6 (7:1), 6:3, 7:5.

Djokovic won his 23rd Grand Slam title and became the record holder for this indicator. This is the third victory for the 36-year-old tennis player at Roland Garros, the Serb has previously won the Australian Open 10 times, the US Open three times and Wimbledon seven times.

Ruud is 24 years old and is ranked fourth in the world rankings. The Norwegian reached the final of the French Open for the second year in a row. In total, he has 10 titles in ATP tournaments.
