Jokic checked if Djokovic had sent him “congratulations” and when he saw how many messages he had he started cursing
He was enjoying Nikola Jokic and was trying to find out if Nikola Jokic had texted him about winning the NBA championship and when he saw how many people had texted him he went insane and started cussing and saying he would turn off his phone.
Nikola Jokic held an adorable press conference after winning the championship with the Nuggets and being named NBA Finals MVP. And at the end of his statements, he made sure to once again cause laughter.
Now that his friendly relationship with Novak Djokovic is known, the Serb was asked if he considers this period as the most successful in the history of Serbian sport due to the achievements of the two. Then Jokic said: “Ah… congratulations! Let’s see if he texted me. But then, looking at his phone, he realized he had too many messages and started cursing:Ooo… c@moto”.
A reporter then asked him how many messages he had, to which Jokic replied:Many. I will turn off my phone.
