Alcarath: The Spaniard has a wrist problem, he can be protected until Wimbledon
Carlos Alcarath is struggling with a right wrist injury and is likely to be sidelined until Wimbledon to recover from the ailment.
On top of the cramps, Carlos Alcarath also suffered a right wrist injury problem after the match against Novak Djokovic.
The 20-year-old Spaniard, who tried to return an attack from the Serb, felt an uneasiness that still bothers him.
His medical staff decided to undergo tests to see if there was anything more serious, although so far it hasn’t been revealed.
At the same time, the cramps are due to the intensity with which Alkarath faced Djokovic in the semifinals and his medical staff are not worried.
The most likely scenario right now is that the world No. 2 will be out of action until Wimbledon, which takes place from July 3-16.
