The time for Stefanos Tsitsipas to take part in the Stuttgart Open is fast approaching. His match with Richard Gasquet will take place on Thursday afternoon (June 15th, no earlier than 6 p.m., Cosmote Sport 6).
Their game concludes the program on the main square, which begins at 12 noon. with Wu’s showdown with Fucsovic. Then follows the match between Karachev and Fritz and before that the match between Greek tennis player Struff and Paul takes place.
In the first round, Richard Gasker won a 2-0 set against Christopher Eubanks. The 36-year-old Frenchman (No. 55) won the first set in the tiebreak 7-6 (2) and then the second 6-4 to advance to the round of 16.
Tsitsipas faced Gasquet twice more, with both athletes claiming a win each. The 24-year-old Greek prevailed in his first game in Doha in 2018, with Gasquet winning the return a few months later in the Netherlands.
