Alize Cornet defeated Elisabeth Mandlik and will now play against Jody Burrage, who defeated Magdalena Frenh.
Heather Waston was stronger than Victoria Golubich. In another quarter-final match, Harriet Dart and Cathy Boulter faced off. Kathy closed the game behind her. It is interesting that in the 1/8 final Dart beat the first racket of Ukraine Angelina Kalinina, and Bulter won against Daria Snigur.
