(Paris) The American Frances Tiafoe, crowned Sunday in Stuttgart, integrates for the first time the top 10 of the ATP circuit, according to the ranking published on Monday, still dominated by the Serbian Novak Djokovic ahead of the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
Tiafoe occupies the 10e place, having gained two places, at the expense of Russian Karen Khachanov and Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime.
This is the best ranking achieved by the semi-finalist of the last United States Open, 25 years old.
This is also the case for his compatriot Tommy Paul, 15eand for the Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, 19ewho each won a place.
With the presence of Taylor Fritz at 8e world rank, it is the first time since May 2012 that we find traces of two American players ranked in the top 10.
Defeated in the final by Tiafoe in Stuttgart, Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff, 21ealso reached at 33 the best ranking of his career, up three places.
