Soviet tennis player Andrey Olkhovsky believes that Daniil Medvedev’s game in the second round match of the tournament in Halle, Germany against Serb Laszlo Gyore was not the most successful.
Medvedev, who received the first seed at the tournament, won the match with a score of 6:3, 6:7 (5:7), 6:3. Tennis players spent 2 hours and 12 minutes on the court.
– How will I evaluate Daniil’s form for the first three games on grass? Between the defeat from Mannarino and today’s tournament, the difference is a week. Therefore, it is still difficult to assess. As for the game, I’ll say this, well done for winning. Because the match was not the most successful for Daniil, – Olkhovsky told Vprognoze.ru.
In the next round, the Russian will face Spaniard Roberto Bautista-Agut.
