On 21 and 22 June, the 1/8 finals were played at the WTA 500 series turf tournament in Berlin (Germany).

The winner of the competition and the second racket of the world, Arina Sobolenko, lost to the country representative 404 Veronika Kudermetova.

Elena Rybakina, second seed and number three in women’s tennis, lost to Donja Vekic.

The highest-rated tennis player who continues to play on the grass courts in the German capital is Caroline Garcia, who is ranked 3rd.
