Khachanov withdrew from Wimbledon

The 11th racket of the world, Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov withdrew from the Grand Slam tournament in the UK due to a stress fracture, the press service of the competition organizers said.
In the main draw of the tournament, the Russian will be replaced by the representative of Argentina, Francisco Cherundolo.
Khachanov has previously stated that he has no problem obtaining the British visa required to participate in the Wimbledon tournament.
In March, the organizers of Wimbledon decided to allow tennis players from Russia and Belarus in a neutral status. The admission condition is the observance of a number of conditions, including the signing of a special declaration.
Wimbledon 2023 will take place from 3 to 16 July.
