Russian Daniil Medvedev failed to reach the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Hull, losing to Spaniard Roberto Bautista-Agut.
The third racket of the world Medvedev lost to his opponent in two sets – 5:7, 6:7 (3:7). The Russian made 12 innings right through and made 4 double faults, Bautista-Agut made one double fault.
The Spaniard’s opponent in the semi-finals could be another Russian Andrey Rublev, if he beats the representative of the Netherlands Tallon Grikspoor.
