The game between Maria Sakkari and Marketa Vodroussa for the quarter-finals of the Berlin Open will not be played on Friday (June 23) due to rain.

Heavy rain caused postponements Berlin Open, because the games could not be played and the organizers had no other solution because there are no floodlights on the courts.

As such, all quarter-finals matches have been postponed and will be played on Saturday, with organizers announcing a new schedule.

Of course, the postponed games also included that of Maria Sakkari and Marketa Vodrusova. The game between the two athletes will open the program on Saturday (June 24) and, according to the WTA, is expected to start around 11:30 a.m.

In fact, due to the tight timeframe for completing the tournament, the semi-finals will also be played on the same day.

So if Sakkari wins against Vodrusova, she will face the winner of the pair between Avenasyan and Vekic a few hours later.
