Defeated Alcaraz. Krutykh recognized the first opponent in the Wimbledon election

The first issue of Ukrainian men’s tennis Alexei Krutykh (ATP 178) recognized his opponent in the 1st qualifying round for Wimbledon 2023.

At the beginning of the election, the Ukrainian will meet with the Hungarian representative. Fabian Marozhan (ATP 91) is seeded under number 3.

This will be the first meeting of tennis players. The fight is scheduled for June 26 at 13:00 Kiev time.

Now Marozhan is in the highest position in the ATP ranking. Three Challenger titles and 5 trophies in ITF level tournaments.

In 2023, Krutykh qualified for the Australian Open and managed to qualify for the main draw, and also played at Roland Garros, which he lost in the runoff.

Interestingly, on May 15, Marozhan defeated star Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the 1/16 final of the Masters in Rome.
