On 28 June, the 1/8 finals of the grass tournament of the WTA 500 series were held in Eastbourne (England).

The second seed of the tournament, Caroline Garcia, beat Madison Brengle and Anna Bogdan on the way to the quarterfinals.

Ukraine’s first racket, Angelina Kalinina, completed her performance in the first round of the competition by losing to Daria Kasatkina.
