Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki has announced her decision to resume her professional career.

She last competed at the Australian Open in 2020, losing to Tunisia’s Onse Jabeur in the third round match. After that meeting, Wozniacki announced her retirement.

– Am I very nervous? Not really. After all, I am returning to an occupation that I love very much. Of course, I will be nervous before the games, but I have no problems with that.

Can I win the Australian Open or US Open? It seems to me that yes. That is why I am returning.

First, I plan to play in Montreal to get the rhythm back, after which I will go to New York for the US Open. The Olympic Games in Paris are also on my list of goals, ”Vogue magazine quotes the words of the 32-year-old athlete.

Wozniacki is the winner of one Grand Slam singles tournament (Australian Open 2018) and 33 WTA tournaments (30 of them in singles).
