Sinyakova wins first WTA title on turf
On July 1, the final match of the grass tournament of the WTA 250 series took place in Bad Homburg (Germany).
Katerina Sinyakova of the Czech Republic (No. 52 WTA) beat Lucia Bronzetti of Italy (No. 65 WTA) in straight sets in the championship game.

Sinyakova played her eighth final at WTA level and won her fourth title, taking the trophy on turf for the first time.
Bronzetti lost the second of three finals. He became the champion in Rabat clay courts this year.
