(London) Australian Nick Kyrgios, injured in a wrist, announced Sunday evening that he would not play the Wimbledon tournament, where he reached the final last year.
“I am really sad to have to give up Wimbledon this year”, writes the 33e world player in a story posted on Instagram on the eve of the first matches of the British Major. The 28-year-old says he suffered wrist pain last week in Mallorca, where he was preparing for a return to the pitch.
