Djokovic helped mop the court after rain at Wimbledon
Serb Novak Djokovic, second racket of the world, helped to wipe the court after rain during the match of the first round of Wimbledon against Argentina’s Pedro Cachin.
The meeting was suspended due to rain after the first set. Djokovic, seeded at the tournament under the second number, entered the court with a towel and helped the staff clean it up. He also jokingly advised his team to blow in order to dry the court faster.
The game resumed, the 36-year-old Serbian won the first two sets with the same score 6:3.
Djokovic is the reigning Wimbledon winner.
