Stefanos Tsitsipas’ Wimbledon first-round match against Dominic Thiem was interrupted by rain for the second time, and the pitch was covered.
Stefanos Tsitsipas’ match against Dominic Thiem in the Wimbledon opening was again interrupted in the second set due to rain.
First, the game was temporarily stopped in the 8th game of the first set with the Austrian leading 5-2 and the Greek serving, but eventually Thiem won the first set 6-3.
The rain stopped and both players re-entered the field and continued. Finally the game was stopped again, Tsitsipas led 4:3 while the field was quickly occupied.
