Iron Andy is back in business. Murray defeats compatriot at Wimbledon
UK Representative Andy Murray (ATP 40) Wimbledon started successfully in 2023.
In the 1/64th final of the grass major, Sir Andy was defeated. Rayna Penistona (England, ATP 268) in 2 hours and 3 minutes.

It was the first meeting of tennis players.
In the next round of the tournament, Murray will face the winner of the match Dominic Thiem – Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Note that in 2023, Murray won two turf contenders. Also, 36-year-old Sir Andy won twice in his career on Wimbledon courts (2013, 2016).
