Andy Murray confirmed the title of favorite against Pennyston, won 3-0 sets and is now expecting the winner of the pair Tsitsipas – Thiem in the second round of Wimbledon.

Andy Murray’s performance against Ryan Penniston was outstanding, winning 3-0 sets in a game that lasted about two hours.

The Briton confidently prevailed against his compatriot and is now waiting for the winner of the pair between Tsitsipas and Thiem in the second round of Wimbledon.

He faced Tsitsipas twice more, with the two tennis players recording a win each but also an interlude at the US Open. In contrast, Murray and Thiem have played five times, with the Brit emerging victorious on three occasions.

In his match, the fact that Murray lost just four games in three sets to his compatriot says it all. It is significant that Penniston only resisted in the first set, which he lost 6-3.

He won just one game in the next two sets (6-0, 6-1), with Murray celebrating another win ahead of his compatriots.
