A strange incident happened at Wimbledon when two intruders entered the field, throwing confetti and puzzle pieces, interrupting Dimitrov’s match against Shimabukuro.
Rain is not the only reason why games are suspended at Wimbledon as was the case for Maria Sakkari and Marta Kostiuk as Dimitrov’s duel with Shimabukuro was suspended for trespassing.
Specifically, two people entered the field during the game and threw orange confetti and puzzle pieces to protest oil and gas exploration.
