Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham, along with his 74-year-old mother Sandra, attended the match between Russian Daria Kasatkina and British tennis player Jody Burrage in the second round of the Wimbledon tournament, according to the Daily Mail.
Kasatkina defeated her opponent with a score of 6:0, 6:2. The game did not arouse much interest in Beckham, who spent the entire match sitting and struggling with sleep, yawning and having difficulty keeping his eyes open.
The authors of the material suggested that the cause of Beckham’s drowsiness was the celebration of the 24th wedding anniversary with his wife Victoria, which took place the day before.
In the third round, Kasatkina will play with the winner of the match between Nadya Podoroska (Argentina) and Victoria Azarenka (Belarus).
