Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina must maintain her spirit and confidence for further Wimbledon games, Vice-President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) Alexei Selivanenko told RB Sport.
Kasatkina advanced to the third round of the Wimbledon tournament. In the second round match, the Russian woman defeated the British Jodi Barrage.
– Daria played very confidently, making the most of her advantage in class and experience. The main thing is to keep the same attitude and confidence. How does Kasatkina feel playing on grass? Now all the players are quite versatile on all surfaces, although, of course, everyone has their own preferences,” said Selivanenko.
In the third round, the Russian woman will play with the winner of the match Nadya Podoroska (Argentina) – Victoria Azarenka (Belarus).
