“Such a repeater.” Venus Williams in social networks joked about Medvedev
Five-time Wimbledon singles champion Venus Williams joked on social networks about Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev.
In her account, the 43-year-old American posted a photo from a training session at Wimbledon. In the picture, she is in the foreground, Medvedev is in the background, both perform the same element – a forehand kick.
“Such a repeater,” Williams wrote, and also invited fans to vote on who performs the best shot.
Venus Williams lost to Ukrainian Elina Svitolina in the first round of Wimbledon – 4:6, 3:6, Medvedev defeated British Arthur Fury – 7:5, 6:4, 6:3. In the second round, the Russian tennis player will meet with the Frenchman Adrian Mannarino.
