Russians Alexandrova and Blinkova reached the third round of Wimbledon
Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova defeated American Madison Brengle in the second round of the Wimbledon tournament.
Alexandrova, who received the 21st seed, won the match with a score of 6:7 (4:7), 7:6 (7:5), 7:6 (10:7). Tennis players spent 2 hours and 48 minutes on the court.
Another Russian Anna Blinkova defeated Romanian Irina Camellia Bega (29th seed) in almost 2 hours – 7:5, 6:3.
In the next round, Alexandrova will play with Dalma Galfi from Hungary, and Blinkova will meet with the winner of the pair Arina Sobolenko (Belarus, 2) – Varvara Gracheva (France).
