The winner of two Grand Slam tournaments in the mixed doubles, Andrei Olkhovsky, admitted that the first racket of Russia, Daniil Medvedev, is easier to play at Wimbledon than in previous grass tournaments.
Earlier, Medvedev made it to the third round of the Wimbledon tournament, defeating the Frenchman Adrian Mannarino with a score of 6:3, 6:3, 7:6 (7:5).
– An unexpectedly easy win. The game was a struggle, but the score is easy. Wimbledon has a slightly different grass. Daniil finds it easier to play at Wimbledon than at previous tournaments. In my opinion, the rebound is more even. Let’s see how it goes. But the victory over Mannarino is really good, – quotes the words of Olkhovsky “Championship”.
