Alexei Selivanenko, Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF), noted that Russian Daniil Medvedev will have a difficult match in the third round of Wimbledon.

Medvedev made it to the third round of the Wimbledon tournament, defeating the Frenchman Adrian Mannarino with a score of 6:3, 6:3, 7:6 (7:5).

– Each match always becomes a separate confrontation. Two weeks ago, Daniil played worse than today, and Adrian was better (Mannarino outplayed Medvedev at a tournament in the Netherlands in June – approx. “Match TV”). At the same time, of course, players draw conclusions from previous matches and build their tactics based on past experience. Next match with Fucovic? In the third round of Wimbledon, there are no obviously easy opponents. Marton plays well on grass, he won here at the junior level. It’s always difficult to guess, but there are no predetermined results for anyone here,” RB Sport quotes Selivanenko.

In the next round, the Russian will play with Marton Fucovich from Hungary.
