Alexei Selivanenko, Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation, member of the ITF Board of Directors, believes that the match between Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev and Marton Fucovich from Hungary at Wimbledon turned out to be interesting.
Seeded under the third number, the Russian beat the Hungarian Fucovic with a score of 4:6, 6:3, 6:4, 6:4. The meeting lasted 3 hours and 4 minutes.
– The match was interesting. Both opponents showed beautiful combinational tennis. I think everyone who watched this meeting enjoyed the game. And Medvedev, starting from the second set, confidently took the initiative, kept his serve, made breaks at the right moments and eventually brought the match to victory without any special complications. Compared to the first set, Daniil then began to make fewer mistakes, Selivanenko told Vprognoze.ru.
The next opponent of the Russian will be the Czech Jiri Legechka.
