Wimledon: Alcarath takes on Beretini, Rooney stops Dimitrov
Carlos Alcarath won the set 3-1 after a great match by Berretini and remains undefeated. Big win for Rooney against Dimitrov.
Carlos Alcarath and Matteo Berretini provided the tennis fans with a great match, with the Italian making it difficult for the Spaniard who eventually qualified with a 3-1 set.
Berretini won the first set 6-3, but the next three sets went to Alcarath with exactly the same score and in a similar fashion.
Roone also managed a big qualifier against Dimitrov in a match that was also decided in four sets and there was an upset there too. The Bulgarian won the first set 6:3 and the next three went to the Dane 7:6 (6), 7:6 (4), 6:3.
So ended the big date between Alkarath and Roone for the Wimbledon Quarterfinals.

In the first round match, Kalinskaya, who received the 31st seed, defeated Briton Sonay Kartal with a score of 7:6 (7:3), 6:1. The meeting lasted 1 hour 38 minutes.
