Soviet and Russian tennis player Andrei Chesnokov believes that Russian Mirra Andreeva has good prospects to go far at Wimbledon 2023.
In the third round match, 16-year-old Andreeva defeated compatriot Anastasia Potapova with a score of 6:2, 7:5.
Mirra has been playing very confidently lately. She is gorgeous! It doesn’t matter to her who to play against – she climbs in the forehead at everyone. Andreeva absolutely does not feel any pressure on herself. She constantly plays with a cool head. This is amazing for her young age. Mirra was lucky in the last match, where Kreychikova suffered an injury, and she withdrew.
Today Mirra against Potapova looked simply gorgeous. She has good prospects for this Wimbledon. Andreeva can climb very high. In this form, she can beat any tennis player from the top 10 rating! – said Chesnokov “Championship”.
The next rival of the Russian tennis player at Wimbledon will be American Madison Keys (25th seed).
