Soviet and Russian tennis player Andrey Chesnokov called the confident victory of Russian Daniil Medvedev over the representative of Hungary Marton Fucovich in the third round of Wimbledon.

Seeded under the third number, the Russian beat the Hungarian Fucovic with a score of 4:6, 6:3, 6:4, 6:4. The meeting lasted 3 hours and 4 minutes.

– Before the match with Fucovich, it was clear that Medvedev was the favorite. Medvedev’s first set almost didn’t work out, everything else was comfortable. If we talk about whether Fucovich had chances, I can’t say. He had a chance to win the first set, and on the part of Medvedev everything was quite comfortable and confident, – Chesnokov told the “Championship”.

The next opponent of the Russian will be the Czech Jiri Legechka.
