Wimbledon: Zamper against Vodrusova in the final
Wimbledon will have a new winner after Ons Zambert and Marketa Vodrusova reached the women’s final.

The 28-year-old Tunisian defeated Arina Shamalenka 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-3 in a semi-final to advance to the final in London for the second year in a row, where she lost to Elena Rybakina last year.
Zamper is the first tennis player since Serena Williams to reach the finals by eliminating three WTA Top-10 opponents and the first for the American to have made two consecutive finals.
They will face Marketa Vodrusova, who is ranked 42nd in the world but will compete in the second Grand Slam final of her career after Roland-Garros in 2019.
To get there, the 24-year-old Czech defeated this year’s leaders Elina Svitolina 6-3, 6-3 and will look to succeed Petra Kvitova after 2014 with big wins.
The final is scheduled for Saturday.
