Novak Djokovic (No.2) competing his 8th Wimbledon title, faces in his 46th Grand Slam semifinal against No. 8 Yannick Sinner and was aiming for the only ticket to the final.
They have met twice in the past, with the Serb winning both games.
Next up is Carlos Alcarath (No.1) against Daniil Medvedev (No.3) and both will face off for the first timeand Wimbledon semifinals. This is the third time the two have met, with one win each.
