Ons Zambert And Marketa Vodrusova will cross swords in the Wimbledon final on Saturday (15/7) to win the prestigious trophy for the first time.

Zamper is the first tennis player since Serena Williams to reach the finals by eliminating three WTA Top-10 opponents and the first for the American to have made two consecutive finals.

They will face Marketa Vodrusova, who is ranked 42nd in the world but will compete in the second Grand Slam final of her career after Roland-Garros in 2019.

To get there, the 24-year-old Czech defeated this year’s leaders Elina Svitolina 6-3, 6-3 and will look to succeed Petra Kvitova after 2014 with big wins.
