Roman Safiullin lost to Yannick Sinner in the Wimbledon quarter-finals
Russian tennis player Roman Safiullin was defeated by Italian Yannick Sinner in the ¼ final of Wimbledon.
In the quarterfinals, the Russian lost to the representative of Italy in four sets – 4:6, 6:3, 2:6, 2:6. The duration of the match was 2 hours and 16 minutes.
For Safiullin, participation in the quarterfinals was the best result in his career at the Grand Slam tournaments. Sinner reached the semi-finals of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time.
His next opponent in London will be either Serbian Novak Djokovic or Russian Andrey Rublev.
