Daniil Medvedev reached the semifinals of Wimbledon for the first time in his career

Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev made it to the semi-finals of the Wimbledon tournament for the first time in his career.
Medvedev (3rd seed) outplayed American Christopher Eubanks in the quarterfinals 6:4, 1:6, 4:6, 7:6 (7:4), 6:1. The meeting lasted almost three hours.
The Russian will compete with the winner of the confrontation between Carlos Alcaras (Spain, 1) and Holger Rune (Denmark, 6) for reaching the final of the tournament.
