16-year-old Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva intends to change citizenship to French – media

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva intends to obtain French citizenship, according to the Tennis World USA portal.
Andreeva, 16, lives and trains in France. To apply for citizenship, you must have lived in France for at least 5 years and pass a French language test.
Andreeva takes 102nd place in the ranking of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
Andreeva took part in two Grand Slam tournaments: she reached the third round of the French Open, and also reached the fourth round of Wimbledon.
In early June, it became known that Russian tennis player Varvara Gracheva received French citizenship.
