“Medvedev needs to tenaciously play with Alcaraz and not give anything of his own” – Olkhovsky

Soviet and Russian tennis player Andrey Olkhovsky said that Russian Daniil Medvedev should not be given easy draws to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals of the Wimbledon tournament.
– It will be harder for Medvedev with Alcaras than with Eubanks. It will be very difficult to beat Alcaraz if there are such recessions as in the game with the American. With Carlos, you have to tenaciously play for every ball and not give anything of your own. The Spaniard is now aimed [на успех] and will play actively and tenaciously,” Olkhovsky told the “Championship”.
The match between Medvedev and Alcaraz will take place on July 14, starting at 17:30 (Moscow time).
