“Medvedev has everything to win both the match with Alcaraz and the Wimbledon final” – Anastasia Pivovarova

Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev is capable of defeating world No. 1 Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon semi-finals and winning the title, former world No. 2 junior Anastasia Pivovarova said.
Seeded under the third number, Medvedev will play with Alcaraz on Friday, the game starts at 17:30 Moscow time. For the first time in his career, the Russian reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon. Serb Novak Djokovic will face Italian Yannick Sinner in the second semi-final.
– I expect a very beautiful game and bright moments from the match between Medvedev and Alcaraz. I think it will be a very difficult match. Let’s cheer for Danya and hope for his victory. I think he has everything to win this match and the final. He can take the Wimbledon trophy. Everything will depend on Medvedev’s mood, how calmly he will approach the match and how collected he will be. Let’s hope everything works out,” Pivovarova told Gazeta.ru.
