Vondrousova beat Zhaber to win Wimbledon

Czech tennis player Marketa Vondrousova won Wimbledon by defeating Tunisian rival Ons Jaber in the final.

The Czech took both games with the same score 6:4. The meeting lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Previously, none of the opponents has become the winner of the Grand Slam tournaments. Vondrousova reached the finals only once (Roland Garros 2019), for Zhaber the current Wimbledon final was the third lost (Wimbledon 2022, US Open 2022).
