Olkhovsky sees no favorite in Wimbledon final between Djokovic and Alcaraz

Two-time Grand Slam winner in mixed doubles Andrei Olkhovsky said he does not see a clear favorite in the final match of Wimbledon, where Serb Novak Djokovic will play Spaniard Carlos Alcaras.

Djokovic defeated the Italian Yannick Sinner in the semifinals, and Alcaraz was stronger than the Russian Daniil Medvedev. The Grand Slam final will take place on Sunday.

– There is no clear favorite. Of course, Djokovic is much more experienced, but Alcaraz is now in very good shape. But as Djokovic himself said: “No matter how many finals I played before, I will play it like the first time.” Alcaraz will do the same. For me, it will be just an interesting match,” Olkhovsky told Vprognoze.ru.

Djokovic is a seven-time Wimbledon winner. Alcaraz will play in the final of this tournament for the first time in his career.
