16-year-old Mirra Andreeva climbed 36 lines in the WTA rankings

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has published an updated ranking in singles.

Russian Mirra Andreeva has risen by 36 positions and is now in 66th place. Last week, the 16-year-old tennis player reached the fourth round of her first Wimbledon tournament.

Wimbledon winner Marketa Vondrousova from the Czech Republic moved up to 10th place in the rankings.

Poland’s Iga Shventek is still in the lead, ahead of Belarusian Arina Sobolenko and Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina.
