Ex-second racket of the world advised the Russians not to go to the “Challenger” in Poland
Former second racket of the world among juniors Anastasia Pivovarova said that Russian tennis players should refuse to participate in the Challenger in the Polish city of Grodzisk-Mazowiecki, the organizers of which called on Russians and Belarusians not to apply for participation.
– As for the organizers of the tournament in Poland, in several countries tennis players from Russia were not allowed. For me, this is not news. I think that other tournaments should be chosen. And if some obstacles are created for us, then we just need to look for other ways. Why put yourself in a situation where, even if you somehow get into the lists of players, there will still be pressure? This is absolutely not necessary for tennis players. You need to choose a different path, choose a calendar that will not limit you in any way, ”Gazeta.Ru quotes Pivovarova as saying.
The Challenger Tournament in Grodzisk Mazowiecki will be held from 14 to 19 August.
