The Berlin prosecutor’s office filed a petition for a fine. Alexandra Zvereva. A well-known tennis player, Brenda Patea, is accused of bodily harm to her ex-girlfriend, a former participant of the “Germany’s Next Top Model” competition.

According to the source, the amount of compensation claimed is just under half a million euros. At this time, a fine order has been issued, upon payment of which the future case can be heard behind closed doors.

If Zverev is found guilty in court, he will have two weeks to appeal. There is a presumption of innocence until the final decision is made.

This is not the first time Zverev has faced such accusations. In November 2020, Zvereva’s then-girlfriend, Olga Sharypova, accused the 26-year-old athlete of domestic violence. Zverev later categorically denied these allegations. Sharypova did not turn to law enforcement, and the ATP concluded that there was no violation of the rules of the association.
