WTA responded to scandal with Shuai at tournament in Hungary
Women’s Tennis Organization Releases Brief Statement Following Chinese Woman’s Controversial Withdrawal Zhang Shuai From the tournament in Budapest.
“WTA categorically does not accept racism in any form. In the statement made by the federation, it was stated that the unfortunate event in the Hungarian Grand Prix yesterday and the subsequent posts were reviewed and will be commented on in the future.
In the first set, the Chinese woman hit the line with the score 5:5 (15:15), but it didn’t count. The referee confirmed the decision of this side referee. The Chinese woman called the supervisor, but she said she had no right to record the notes. The match continued, and after the next draw Hungarian came and cleared the mark from the blow, with nothing to be proven. At the same time, the stands booed Shuai, who was trying to protest.
After discussing the matter with the authorities, Shuai burst into tears and withdrew from the match. He found the strength to approach the judge and the opponent and shake hands with them. After that, Amarissa raised her hands in victory.
All the effort in the training was wrong because when you want to hit the line closer, even when you touch the line still OUT…..
I love you and all the girls who support me and are by my side. pic.twitter.com/ZZt28KdbRE

The Toth dwarf is a blatant swindler and must be punished by him. @WTA to disrespect and ridicule another player. It’s so painful to watch this being a real bullying on a depressed person.pic.twitter.com/xU5C8J91SK
