Scandalous Hungarian woman apologizes to Zhang Shuai for the incident in Budapest
Hungarian tennis player Amarisa Toth In the first round match of the WTA 250 soil tournament held in Budapest, Chinese Zhang Shuai commented on the scandal in the match when he had a panic attack and withdrew from the competition:
“I didn’t think my first WTA success would cause such a storm, and I’m so sorry for what happened.
I respect Zhang Shuai as a person and as an athlete. Let alone Zhang Shuai, I never intended to disrespect, upset anyone, or hurt anyone.
I understand that I shouldn’t have celebrated like this after the game, and I regret it. The emotions, the moment and the intensity of the match captured me. I concentrated on tennis and didn’t want to win that way. I hope in the future I will have the opportunity to sit down with Zhang Shuai and talk about how bad I feel about our match ending like this.” Amarissa said.
